Psychological Resilience of Employees in Adversity Quotient: Malaysian Perspective in Facing Challenges

Psychological resilience is the ability to manage psychologically or emotionally with a catastrophe swiftly recover pre-crisis position. Adversity one of most important abilities for psychological resilience. Workers in twenty-first century must be able deal adversity challenging work environment, especially during pandemic.The purpose this study was determine level quotient among Malaysian employees pandemic period. Different employees' quotients have also been compared terms gender, race, and age. This study's design cross-sectional surveywith 585 respondents from all around Malaysia selected using convenient sampling technique. A modified version Dr. Paul G. Stoltz's Response Profile employed as instrumentin study. The data then analysed sum, median, mean, standard deviation, independent-sample t-test, logistic regression.The findings show that majority high score.In men tend score higher than female employees. Employees aged 50 over excel those 26 below. However, different races not significantly different. Employers should eventually take serious concern by implementing appropriate intervention programme policy aimed at potential order overcome their shortcoming quotientand, more importantly, enhance employee's face challenges drive company's mission vision.
